For Photographers

The edit that doesn't look like an edit

Power lines across your landscape. A photobomber in your street shot. Sensor dust on every frame from the last three shoots. Peelaway handles the tedious cleanup so you spend time on the creative work that matters.

From cleanup to composition

The full range of post-processing edits that slow you down — automated without sacrificing quality.

Power line & wire removal

Utility lines, telephone cables, and electrical wires across landscapes, cityscapes, and architecture shots. Clean sky reconstruction even where lines cross branches and buildings.

Unwanted object removal

Trash cans, signs, fences, parked cars, construction equipment — anything that breaks the composition. The AI fills the area with context-appropriate content.

Bystander & photobomber removal

Strangers who walked into the frame during a portrait session or landscape shoot. Remove them while preserving the background scene.

Sensor dust & spot cleanup

Consistent dust spots across an entire shoot cleaned in batch. The API handles hundreds of images with the same dust pattern efficiently.

Blemish retouching

Skin blemishes, temporary marks, and minor distractions in portrait work. Natural skin texture preserved — no plastic airbrushed look.

Composition refinement

Remove that one element that ruins an otherwise perfect shot. Date stamps from old cameras, lens flare artifacts, stray elements at the frame edge.

Your time is worth more than clone-stamping

You didn't pick up a camera to spend hours clone-stamping power lines and healing sensor dust. Manual cleanup is tedious, repetitive, and doesn't require creative judgment — it's just work.

Peelaway's instruction-based AI handles the mechanical editing at full resolution. It understands scenes — where a tree branch continues behind a wire, what the sky gradient should look like, how skin texture flows around a blemish. The result is an edit that looks like it was done by hand, in a fraction of the time.

Full native resolution

42MP, 61MP, 100MP — no downscaling. Tile-based processing at your sensor's native resolution. Print-ready output.

Instruction-based, not inpainting

The AI sees the full scene and edits in context. Where lines cross tree branches, it reconstructs the branches — not a blurry smear.

Cosine-weighted blending

Overlapping tiles merge with smooth cosine transitions. No visible seams, no tile boundaries, no processing artifacts.

EXIF metadata preserved

Camera model, lens data, GPS coordinates, exposure settings — all preserved in the output file. Your photo library stays organized.

Frequently asked questions

Will removing power lines leave visible artifacts?
No. The AI reconstructs the sky, clouds, and background behind each wire using scene context. The result looks like the wires were never there — natural gradients, cloud textures, and color transitions are maintained.
Can I process an entire shoot's worth of sensor dust removal?
Yes. Submit images through the API in parallel. The serverless backend scales automatically. Each image is processed independently, so dust in the same position is consistently handled across the series.
Does it handle RAW files?
Currently Peelaway accepts JPEG, PNG, and WebP. For RAW workflows, export to TIFF or high-quality JPEG from your RAW processor, process through Peelaway, then continue your editing workflow with the cleaned version.
How does the skin retouching compare to Photoshop frequency separation?
Different approach, complementary results. Frequency separation gives you surgical control over texture and tone independently. Peelaway is faster for targeted blemish removal — upload, process, done. For heavy retouching, use Photoshop. For quick cleanup, Peelaway saves significant time.
Can I remove a specific object without affecting nearby elements?
Yes. The AI understands scene depth and object boundaries. Removing a sign from a building facade preserves the brickwork. Removing a person from a street preserves the pavement texture. Adjacent elements stay sharp and undistorted.
